Scallop punch trees

I thought I would share my christmas tree cards that I made for one of my recent card workshops. Another great use of your scallop punches!

Not quite there yet!

I made the huge decision that I would join an online workshop by Shimelle Laine whose work I admire greatly! Anyway the workshop is designed to get scrapbookers blogging to enhance our journalling skills within our layouts - it's now day 5 and I still haven't managed to organise myself for long enough to take part and follow the prompts - so this, my first EVER blog post is written with me flying blind in the world of Blogging! I promise myself i will catch up otherwise what is the point? This week has been a manic, unplanned and spontaneous week but one where i have created six layouts which I have to pat myself on the back for! I have never managed that before - so maybe somewhere my new challenge of Blogging has also inspired me to scrap more!
The layout I have posted is of my Grandfather from when he fought during the 2nd World War.

My craft room

Not technically, completely, my craft room as i have to share it with the conservatory! If you look closely you will notice my pussy cat curled up on top of the shelf unit under the vase of lilies! Unfortunately this space doesn't always look this tidy and organised - and I have to also accommodate non-craft items! x
